Analog Photoelectric Smoke Detector
Model: D4IPS
The analog photoelectric smoke detector operates by detecting light scattered by smoke particles.
The fire alarm control panel periodically communicates with the detector’s built-in CPU to monitor smoke concentration and detector status. Each detector is assigned a unique address using an address programmer and transmits its status information to the control panel according to that address.
When the smoke concentration reaches the fire alarm threshold set in the control panel, the detector’s LED indicator illuminates to indicate a fire condition, while the control panel displays the detector location and changes in the measured smoke concentration over time.
- Features
-
· Supports up to 252 detectors per system loop · Continuous ambient smoke concentration monitoring · Multi-stage alarm operation based on control panel settings (Pre-alarm: 4%/m, Fire Alarm: 10%/m) · Stand-alone fire testing available without a control panel or repeater panel (using a system diagnostic device) · Address setting: Electronic addressing using the W3A Address Programmer
