Rate-of-Rise Heat Detector

This detector incorporates a high-sensitivity thermistor and activates the connected fire alarm control panel when a rapid change in ambient temperature is detected and identified as a fire condition.
By determining a fire alarm condition based on the rate of temperature change detected by the thermistor, the detector helps reduce false alarms. In addition, the built-in CPU Sleep function increases the number of detectors that can be connected per control panel circuit from 40 to 60.
