When the ambient temperature rises above a specified level, the high-sensitivity thermistor activates and transmits a fire alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel.
This detector is suitable for areas where significant heat is generated, such as kitchens and boiler rooms. The nominal operating temperature should be selected at least 20℃ above the maximum ambient temperature. The built-in CPU Sleep function increases the number of detectors that can be connected per control panel circuit from 40 to 60.
Its waterproof design also helps minimize false alarms caused by steam and condensation and enables reliable operation in environments exposed to outdoor air.
